accelerated pre pharm vs traditional pharm schools

Hi :)

this topic might have been discussed already in previous threads, but I wanted to emphasize on the job opportunities one can get if he/she enters an accelerated pharm program vs a regular, 4 yr pharm school.

when employers look for job candidates, do they look at how well they did in their school and their professional experience, e.g. residencies? or do they also look at WHICH school they went to and the LENGTH of the program?

for instance, a slacker that graduated from ucsf pharm school with okay grades and no professional experience vs an all-A student from UoP's 5yr program with 1 yr of residency. Who would get employed?

I think I will be a pharmacist in the future but I don't know if I want to go straight to pharm or do normal undergrad first.

I am NOT AT ALL concerned about the fact that once I go to accelerated programs, I'm stuck in there. I don't care about that at all. what I AM concerned about is the job opportunities for the accelerated PharmDs.

o and also, if anyone happens to know : is UoP's 5/6 yr pre pharm good?
as in job opportunities?

and what are some other good (as in job opportunities after graduation) accelerated programs out there?

thanks so much :D
