Question: How do I apply to the accelerated medical programs at george washington university and boston university (7 year combined BA/MD program). Is there an application? Do I apply only if I am accepted to the university??

They have advertised these quite effectively, but never really tell you how to get in!!

Also, any tips for success in getting in? I've heard it's not easy.

BU information: All applicants to any of the Accelerated Programs in the College of Arts and Sciences must submit three Accelerated Programs Teacher Evaluation Forms — one each from a teacher of English, laboratory science, and either history or a foreign language. The deadline for submitting these forms is December 1, 2006.

So after going through these sites, the way I understand it is that:

GWU requires an additional essay and supplement form.

BU requires extra teacher reccomendations but no extra essay or supplement form.

I also plan to take the SAT II's in Math I and Biology E. if anyone knows how i can study for these subjects as well, it would be well appreciated. thank u and please e-mail me .

To both he OP and the poster above me:
Here on CC, there is a board specifically for the combined BA/MD programs. I would highly suggest posting there, as they will likely know more.
