<p>I've been told that it is nearly impossible to get into Northwestern as a transfer. Anyone have experience or knowledge to share on the topic?</p>

Volunteer at school for "behaviorally challenged" -working to implement IL Riverwatch program
Non-traditional- 35, single mom, poor
Haven't taken SAT or ACT's yet- scheduled</p>
<p>They are doing research at Northwestern that I really want to be part of (if afforded the opportunity and academic support, I could offer some amazing contributions!)
Was planning on going into Enviro Law...but have been feeling the pull towards Cognitive Psyc/Communication Science, but only if I can get into the "right" research school (Northwestern, Stanford, ?)</p>
