If anyone could give me some idea about my chances at Williams ED, Boston College EA, Duke, Dartmouth, UVa, Georgetown, Bucknell, Cornell, Colgate, Hamilton, Bowdoin

I think you are going to do well. As long as you don't need financial safety, Bucknell, Hamilton and Colgate should be strong matches as well as good fits for you. The remaining schools are harder to predict - but if Williams doesn't come through, you should have many choices come spring (assuming you have good essays and recs). Best of luck at Williams - I hope you make it.

"Girl Scout Gold Award"

That is big, I tried to attain that level when I was in high school but never had enough drive to actually complete it. I think I'd try to play this up in the application process, and apply for lots of scholarships related to it. I personally don't know anyone that actually had the dedication to finish the award, congratulations!

Duke is a great school, might want to add Holy Cross-very similar to Colgate and Bucknell.

whats the deal with this Holy Cross...I have seen this in every damn thread of chances.

par72 loves holy cross and plays it up in every chances thread. he also likes duke as you can see

Where do you go to school? I live in westchester also and we have kind of similar stats. You can pm it to me if you want..

bump.. looking for any more opinions?

You can't apply ED and EA, can you?

you can apply ed and then ea to 2 other schools

For all ED schools, or just Williams?

you have to check with the particular school's policy

yes actually almost all ED schools allow you to EA because they know that if selected u have to go to their school.
So basically u have to find whether the other school which is EA allows u to apply other places or not.
I mean whether its Single Choice Early Action or just Early Action.
If just Early action then yes u can apply ED to one place and Early Action to other places.

(The Info as told by a Penn representative)
