Accept with a F?

I've been reading on these boards that iu doesn't accept anyone who got a D? What if you failed a class in freshmen year, but the other three were extremely better(only one c?), and you had a great SAT score? Help would be appreciated!

I just got accepted to IU and I had many D’s, an F (in JUNIOR year!) and two NC’s (which are coverups for F’s after you retake the class.)

This rumor is not true.

If you are top 20% of your graduating class and have a SAT of 1100 or more (cr + math; or 24 ACT) then you can get into the Hudson Holland Scholars Program and get at least $5,000 a year for four years if you keep your gpa above 3.0 at IU.

Thank-you for the replies! I can calm down a little now. =]

It’s that easy to get into the honors program? I thought it was more competitive than that. Do you need to fill out additional recommendations and do an essay?

That’s not the honors program. Click the link provided.
