Acceptable Non-CAS Apps

Which apps are okay for usage?

block dude only

As long as you use an accepted calculation, the ACT has no idea what other programs or apps may be on your calculator, so if there is something that will help you use it! As for a calculator, the ACT has a list of acceptable and prohibited calculators on their website. I recommend the TI-84 and have used many programs with it each time Iv’e tested. Good luck! @BeCambridge‌

Thanks, @JSSMIT.

Sure thing! Iv’e been a big proponent of using calculator programs because I personally I do math really slowly and having programs that do things like distance formula and areas of different shapes helps me a lot on time! Iv’e made about 30 different ACT related calculator programs that I use and have given to my friends for the ACT. There are also plenty of useful programs that you can download online if you don’t want to take the time to learn how to program and make them. @BeCambridge‌
