acceptance and rejection notices: all done via portal or email?

<p>Just curious. I know that acceptances will show up via the school's portal (at least for CSU and UC schools). Does that also hold true for rejections?</p>

<p>Does the school send a rejection notice, or do they just assume that people know that if they haven't received an acceptance by a certain data, that this means a rejection?</p>

<p>I think that, in general, you can view acceptances/rejections on the portal or through email, and they also send an official letter through the mail whether you were accepted or not.</p>
