ACCEPTANCE, but best for pre med?? HELP

I got accepted to..
Northwestern.
Princeton.
University of Virginia.

What has the best pre-med programs?
I know Princeton doesn't have a medical school...but does it matter for undergraduate pre-med majors?

No it doesn’t matter.

All three universities can prepare you extremely well for med school.

The best for Pre Med is the one where you can get the highest gpa, and/or is the cheapest for you financially. Don’t get into heavy debt for undergrad, if your undergrad is only a stepping stone for a later degree

This is the 2nd time you’ve asked this and you’ve gotten consistent replies. Do you think that somehow the reputation of one school over the next will give you an edge? Is this what you’re worried about?

Most important factors for Med school apps are: 1) GPA and transcript, 2) MCAT, 3) recs,

The note about ability to pay is big too. Lots of impoverished doctors until well into their careers b/c they took on too much debt.

T26E4,
this is my first time doing college confidential blogs and I couldn’t find the answers to the previous time I posted this question…please understand.

As for the reputation, I don’t mind at all. I want to get the most pre-med opportunities besides the grades and financial aid…
for instance, the hospitals nearby I can intern in, the volunteer opportunities, or even graduate students I can confer with about medical school. I want to go to a college where I can experience the most

Definitely Princeton. It will carry the most weight when applying to medical school, it will give you many research opportunities, it probably has some grade inflation making it easier for you to get a higher GPA, it most likely has an outstanding science program that will best prepare you for the MCAT, and everybody wants to go there. This one seemed like a no-brainer to me. Between two equally qualified graduates from Princeton and NW/UV, a med school admissions officer would most likely take the Princeton grad. Don’t take my word completely, though, take into account what everyone else tells you as well.

Oh dear. I don’t think you know much about Princeton if you’re saying this.

I’d still choose Princeton despite it being known for grade deflation, as I’ve heard Northwestern pre-med isn’t so easy either.
