Im a junior in houston, texas. im starting to think about about applying to colleges and was wondering what my chances are at nd.

I have a 6.0 gpa unweighted and a 6.866 gpa weighted on a 6.0 gpa scale
i am in all honors and ap classes.
my sat scores are not the best. 600R 650M and 670W i plan on retaking them in september and do a lot better. (i suck at standardized tests)
act score of 29
class rank is 2/969
SAT II: 770 math level IIc
700 us history

a lot of clubs, extracurriculars and leadership positions.

I think if you can improve your test scores, and I bet you can, then you will have a good shot. As it stands now, it would be close and given how ND has been recently you may be on the outside looking in. Just study, study, study and you will get there. Good luck!

your rank is outstanding, but theyre right, you need to get your score up, and write a good essay -- my suggestion is use humor if you're good at it, thats what i did and my admissions rep loved it

i was also ranked 2 with a 33 ACT and i didn't get in until they took me off the waitlist lol... 770 SAT II on math II is amazing though, i think i got like a 720 or somethin...

Yea, I believe the Math 2 800 is about 87th percentile, meaning 13% of people get 800. You can get like 7 wrong on Math 2 or something and still he an 800
