<p>I recently applied to Pomona College for early decision 1 and was wondering my chances.
Weighted GPAS:
Overall: 4.31
Academic: 4.34
10-12: 4.42
Nonweighted: 3.9
Currently, I am getting a weighted 4.83, and nonweighted 4.00.<br>
I have taken all the honors & AP classes available at my school, 1 freshman yr, 2 sophmore, 5 junior, and 5 currently as a senior. My course load this year is AP Calculus, AP Literature, AP Spanish, AP Photography, Honors Physics & Government/Econ, and currently have As in all classes. I sent a progress report in order to show these strong grades.</p>
<p>However, my SAT scores are a bit low for the school.
SAT 1: 740 math, 710 writing (11 essay), 600 critical reading (OUCH)
SAT 2: 760 math 2c, 630 US History</p>

Cross Country & Track 4 years (4 varsity letters) and team won league this year and last year
I am a lifeguard and work yearly - (6 hrs/week during school yr, & 25 hrs/week during summer)
volunteer to lead bike rides for inner city children
participate in the interact (community service) club and running club at my school
35 mm photography - submitted page with 12 slides of my photos</p>
