I'm looking into MIT for engineering, probably aerospace.

Okay so I'm here looking at other people's scores and such and I'm worried I won't be able to get in.... so here we go.

I'm a white female, middle class, Florida

GPA: 4.0
Weighted: 4.5

SAT: 2170 (1410 reading and math, 760 writing plus 12 essay)
Embarrassed about my low SAT math II, but I'm retaking it this year!
ACT: 33 (33 english, 34 maths, 34 reading, 30 science, 8 essay..)

AP scores----
AP Calc AB: 5
APUSH: 5
AP lang: 5
AP Spanish: 2 (that was a bad class...)
AP World: 3
Planning on taking AP chem, AP calc BC, AP English Lit, AP Macroeconomics, AP Microeconomics, AP Government

Um I'm not properly notified yet, but I will most likely be a commended or semi-finalist for national merit.

EC and whatnot:
Piano for 12 years, participated in Guild for 8 years and got highest marks (superior) for 5 or so (have to check to be sure)
Volunteered at SPCA for 3 years
Worked at piano school (Teaching) for four years
President of History Honor Society
President of Science Honor Society
Member of Spanish and National Honor Society
Secretary of Key Club
135 hour/3 week internship at a crystal/laser optics manufacturing company
I should be getting an internship next summer at an aerospace company, but that's a bit far away to put in an application.

And now I'm just brainstorming:
There were these little state-wide (I think) Law Week essays I won back in middle school, but I don't know if I should put that
"highest grade in geometry" award back in 9th grade
Honorable Mention at districts small group musical for Thespians

Anddddd that's all I can think of at the moment! There are some other things that won't be known until September, so this is all very tentative and I'm new to this, of course!

Thanks in advance!
