Anyone when we will get our acceptance letter(packet) or denial letter?

Acceptance letters will probably be mailed right around April 1st, so I would guess that, depending on where you live, they’ll probably start coming in around Friday the 2nd. Just a guess, though!

I can’t wait any longer! I wish I just knew already I’ve been waiting since the 6th grade for an ND letter and it’s so close!

April 1 is Holy Thursday so I am wondering if the admissions office is open that day. Good Friday is April 2 so I am thinking they wouldn’t want to have letters arrive then. Maybe they will be a bit earlier this year?

We are doing an “admitted student” visit with our son on April 1, so obviously University offices are open that day.

last year’s threads have letters arriving as early as the 26th

^I don’t remember this, I got mine somewhere between April 2-6 (I don’t actually remember the date) - but it was later than everyone expected.

will we first be notified by e-mail?

ND has no online system. Why would they send out an e-mail?

international students are notified by email first I believe and they get a package later, but if you live in the U.S. then everything is done by the regular postal mail.

I was deferred from Early Action. Does anyone know if financial aid information is included with the acceptance letter or how soon we would find out. I’m doing a second visit to my back up school on April 5th and I really hope I find out before then.

My initial feeling is that you won’t. I don’t believe anyone’s financial aid info comes with the letter b/c the admissions office and financial aid office are separate and don’t mix.

ND finalized all their admission/denial letters last friday… I had a friend who already found out that they got denied earlier this week…The letters are already enroute to people

nice try ■■■■■

D91UND might be a ■■■■■ but what he/she said was true. The letters were mailed today and a few of my friends have also found out whether or not they have already gotten accepted or denied.

For those who live abroad. My son just got a letter by e-mail from ND signed by Dean Saracino congratulating him for his acceptance to ND.
We live in Central America. We will be receiving the entire package by mail. Best of luck to all of you!

Ok, so perhaps, we can assume that they were sent out already, however unlikely. Might as well get it over with quick. Wonder how long they would take to reach FL?

they were seriously sent out already?

@mafita: thanks. I live in South America; hopefully I’ll get an email soon!

I just received confirmation from a counselor that decisions were mailed today.
