acceptance/denial letter (dates?)

I have a 30 ACT and got deferred EA…

Do you think they will just consider the fact that I got a 33 in the Math section since Im an Engineering major? Because we all know that Notre Dame places heavy emphasis on the Composite score…

@scholarapactsat: I had 1970 SAT/29 ACT when I got deferred…though it improved quite a bit. I think it will help a bit, but not that much.

Thanks, Brdymom, I looked on that “Decision Thread,” and it made
me feel a little better…:-)

The anticipation is killing me! It’s going to be a long wait here in Seattle! Hopefully I’ll hear on Tuesday! Good luck to everyone- I wish you all the best!! GO IRISH!

Wow, I’m getting really scared. I got deferred at ND EA. And I’m waitlisted at BC… I was quite devastated after I read the decisions letter from BC and I’m so scared now. This anticipation is really killing me. You guys who were accepted and even those waitlisted or denied have incredibly good stats. :S

We’re all scared lol.

Got the letter in NJ today. Waiting list.

I just got mail and I’m waitlisted too! 32 ACT in Illinois

waitilisted to notre dame and bc…my 2 reach schools. ■■■

Daughter accepted from VA.

daughter denied not even waitlisted today… so disappointed

^^No kidding^^
Double legacy, third generation. Not even a courtesy waitlist. Unbelievable.

D waitlisted. Got letter yesterday. She will take another offer and let her spot go to someone else. We couldn’t afford it anyway. Good luck everyone!

God bless your daughter!

Really, its virtually impossible to afford a ND Education…

Accepted!
Southern CA on Saturday 3/27

I believe I heard some stat saying that 70% of ND student’s parents make 100,000 dollars a more per year, just something to think about

My D is currently a freshman and we do not make 100.000+. ND is tough to afford but we believe out D will reap the awards a diploma from ND affords. Our first visit to campus, right after she got her acceptance letter, was amazing. Only took D about 10 minutes to decide ND was for her. She loves it.

^I did not mean for my comment to be insulting to anyone - I just figured I would put it out there - heard the stat in a class at ND and just thought it was an interesting number.

Hawkswim09, no insult taken. I realize from the many friends my D has made at ND that most of these kids come from well off backgrounds. In fact, my D is one of the few in her circle of friends that attended a public high school.
