Acceptance into purdue university

Hey guys, was just wondering if you guys could help me out. Im an international student with a combined SAT score of above 1950 and I managed a 75% throughout my high school (9,10,11,12 average). I am interested in mechanical engineering and would like to pursue the same at Purdue university as, from what I heard, it has a really good reputation!
Also, my extra curriculars arent that great. I was wondering if you guys could let me know if I should target colleges like Purdue, UIUC, Penn State or Wisconsin or are my scores just not good enough? If im not on target for admissions in these colleges, can you all please suggest the best colleges to apply to with these scores? Thanks in advance :DDD. Waiting for your replies...

Anyone?

Please I need help!

Do you need FA? Also what’s your SAT breakdown?

No I dont need FA. Its 680 for Math, 690 for writing and 640 for CR. Are these scores okay and do I have a reasonable chance?

Your sat scores are good for those colleges, but your average and your ECs will bring you down

What if I write a kick ass essay?

your scores are good enough to get you into Purdue, UIUC might be a stretch for engineering what exactly are your ECs?

Soccer all through high school, a few certificates for charity and a few certificates for helping special needs children.
Thats about it.

Ohh yeah Ill also be getting a few recommendations, if that helps.

?

Is the 75% a C? Are you living abroad in a nonEnglish speaking country? Do you go to an interesting HS? What are your science grades like? All those things might make a difference. I agree your SATs are okay. Start looking at smaller colleges that offer a 3-2 program that allows you to do 2 years at a university for eng after 3 years in liberal arts. Elon, Franklin & Marshall, many others.
