the title says it all.
has anyone ever gotten into stern with sub-par SAT/SAT II scores?
(& by sub-par, i mean seriously, below their average)

my scores are the bane of my existence/resume.
everything else is a perfect match with stern.
i take the most rigorous courseload in my high school.
i have an high GPA.
decent amount of EC's.

=(, i'm needing some reassurance right now.
how holistic is stern, really, when it comes to admissions?

If your SAT I's are below 600 in Math & English then you are facing an uphill battle.

Yet if this is the case there are still 2 things you might consider:
1. Prepare real hard & take the SAT I's one more time. The right tutor can make a difference especially for Math.
2. In the supplemental part of the application write a special note explaining that you do not test well on standardized tests but it is not really a reflection on your ability as evidenced by your strong performance in HS (i.e. high GPA).

haha, i feel like an idiot for starting this thread.
i got into stern today :]
but thanks so much for the response mad0613
& advice. i am sure it'll help a future sternie!
