My dad called the Financial Aid office with a few questions and he was told that letters are gonna go out on 3/22. Exciting!

In most likelihood, I'll be applying to Boston College next year; interestingly enough, my college counselor graduated from BC in '00 and worked as an Adcom there. She's made me fall in love with the school! Good luck. :)

playing with my heart right now would be cruel ::jumps around with excitment::

3/22 doesnt sound so bad

Does anyone know if they would send the decision out by email as well?

I doubt a school would email decisions, seeing as people don't always check/keep their email accounts, plus its really not secure enough. Seeing as they don't have an online system to check, I would assume we'll have to wait for snail mail :(

BC doesn't email decisions, so you have to wait for the letter.
Good luck to all the RD applicants!

to tothemaxbro, lots of schools email decisions, that's how i heard ED. and i think harvard emails them as well.

just not BC.

upsided...I got my decision from Penn early. I was sent an email saying that my status was posted. They didn't say "Congratulations you've been accepted." It said something more like...click this link to sign into the Penn Admissions system and get your decision. I'm expecting something similar from Villanova in 2 weeks, I could be wrong, but it would be odd to get the decision itself via email, because that could fall into the wrong hands... Call me crazy.

No I completely understand. Email is not secure enough, but I don't think BC even does that. I'm pretty sure they just send out envelopes. It would be nice though if they posted it online or something, less waiting for the mail.

I agree, the only thing that you can even do online is check your finaid status, and that website is practically hidden on the bc site.

Are you serious? Can I have that link, lol.

american just sent out emailed decisions yesterday.

and isn't penn early decision not action? if you got into penn ed why do you care about bc?

and yeah, i got my rejection from columbia directly in my email, no links to click or anything.

Didn't get in at Penn, got deferred. I was just using the "Congratulations!" as an example of what it might say if they did send decisions that way. I guess some schools do send them that way. anyway, xjayz here's the link...https://www2.student-1.com/StudentApp/

My friend from Cincinnati was accepted today! That's so early for BC!

what major did she apply for?

Spanish/Business in the College of Arts & Sciences.

yikes has any one else heard from bc????

Woah. it's early. Anyone else find out? I guess we can expect it anytime this week or next week then. Thanks for the link.
