Just thought I'd share what they look like. I'm not trying to show-off by any means. I have an 80.80% (/100) average, so I'm still bathing in awe over getting accepted. I personally spent a long time trying to see what the envelope/letter looked like, but no one ever bothered to post it.

If you're curious as to how someone with an 80.80 GPA actually got into Binghamton, feel free to contact me. My counselor originally advised I save $40 and not bother applying; guess I was right to try anyway.

To those who were deferred: SHOW INTEREST IN BINGHAMTON UNIVERSITY WHILE YOU WAIT.. IT WILL HELP!

Thanks for posting this Mark. I was looking for this stuff too. I think you are well deserving of an acceptance despite your 80 avg. Colleges look for unique individuals and it seems you have some very good talents. I wish you the best.

I'd like to point out that when the letter is in the envelope, the clear part is big enough that you can read "Dear (Name), Congratulations! You have been accepted to Binghamton"

@sean256: Thanks a lot! I hope you are accepted soon! :)

@DiN009: Thank you! :)

@jb12: I am an in-state student. As far as I know, Binghamton University typically won't send out the Financial Aid package until sometime in April. Make sure you have completed your FAFSA ASAP.

--> The "priority" deadline for filing your FAFSA for Binghamton scholarship consideration is fast-approaching! The deadline is FEBRUARY 1. Most scholarships are either need-based, or reserved for returning students.

congrats to you guys who got in!
I was suppose to receive a green packet too (had email notification) but never got mine…
Im starting to think it got lost

agreed lebron theyre giving the school a horrible reputation and theyre honestly NOT THAT GOOD. what is the administration thinking allowing these cretans into bing!

I haven’t received anything yet, but friends of mine in the top 10% of my high school class did receive rejections today. Can’t figure it out…all had very good SAT’s and one had legacy.

Does Binghamton look at the high school that you go to? Let’s say, if you go to a specialized high school, would they place you higher?
I don’t know anyone who has gotten a rejection letter from Bing. They’re just not getting a response at all, which is worse.

Mark didn’t scan the tiny booklet thing either, the one with the facts. haha :p
