My son got his official acceptance letter, with a $25,000 Lewis Rudin New York City scholarship. He got a letter about the scholarship last week, but it only said $15,000. I guess they increased it because of finanacial need. Congrats, all!

Good luck to everyone waiting!

That's great BCmom and PrincetonRuby, congratulations to both of you. I assume that you go to NYC schools to get Lewis Rodin, right?
Does this large scholarship win you over to NYU....or are you still comparing offers?

Seems like all the NJ people are getting theirs today...so the rest of us can expect ours in the next couple days!

Did these arrive regular or priority mail? i'm waiting in new york...

Yes, the scholarship is only available for public and parochial schools in NYC, not private schools.

My son is actually out of the country on a school trip right now, so doesnt even know about this yet, although he did ask me on the phone about it the other day when he called. We hadnt gotten it yet. Boston College offered him an almost identical package, and its less expensive than NYU by a few thousand dollars. His sister goes to BC, so it would be easier for us to visit the two of them at once. I think hell probably pick BC. He wants to live away, and NYU might be a little too close for comfort for him. BC might be a better fit for him.

Actually, I go to a NYC private Catholic school and I received it. If my scholarship was a mistake, I can sue if they try to take it back, right?
