From NJ: Daughter received acceptance letter and presidential scholarship today in the mail. Congrats to all.

Acceptance package arrived in NJ today. Included merit scholarship offer, too!
Congrats to all accepted students :)

I got accepted are merit awards only with the acceptance packets because I haven’t received any info yet.

How much were was everyone’s merit

Accepted! 16,000 merit aid, 1950 sat and 3.9 gpa

Just received my acceptance letter! And my merit scholarship is pretty awesome from Delaware

Received my acceptance a couple days back with 25000 in merit.

My d received her acceptance package yesterday! Very nice presentation :), never received an e-mail prior. Very excited, hear such great things about college.

@bloomiesdk - last year as we went through the process, DH and I noted that Loyola had some of the most attractive materials of all the schools where D applied. Not slick or over the top, but very well put together, informative, and presented in a very appealing manner. I suggested DH bring everything in to the school where he works, as his school’s presentation wasn’t nearly as nice! Good luck to your D - my D is in her second semester and Loyola has worked out to be a wonderful choice for her. She’s enjoyed all her classes, and even with the significant amounts of reading the classes require, she’s still had chances to explore Baltimore and have fun in the city.

For those of you who received merit aid with your acceptance letters, did you supply SAT scores? Or were any of you test-optional?

I applied as a test optional applicant with a 4.27 weighted gpa and a 3.91 unweighted. I was granted 26,000 per year.

Daughter received $26k and supplied SAT (1500) and ACT (34) and weighted GPA is 4.8.

Thank you, InigoMontoya- my D received her e=mail today, very impressed with how Loyola communicates with potential students. Good luck to your daughter, my D has a few of acceptances to sort thru, she is very blessed, we are both looking forward to student acceptance day at Loyola. I thought the hard part was getting out the apps?

Accepted today, with claver scholarship (22k a year) and MAGIS scholarship (2500) a year.
3.6 UW, 4.25 W , 2050 SAT (710 W, 690 M, 650 CR)

Hispanic male from florida
Jesuit high school

Btw I didn’t get the email before hand like most people

Acceptance letter came today for my D! $19,000 Presidential Scholarship :)

D received acceptance in the mail today - 16K merit scholarship!

My D received the acceptance letter but no email alluding to a surprise. Since there was no mention of merit aid in her letter, I’m wondering if the “surprise” is the merit scholarship that many of you received.

Since they had invited her to apply to their Honors program (she chose not to), we are surprised that she didn’t receive merit. Has anyone called Admissions about this?

I do not think the email had anything to do with merit aid. My son received email and acceptance, no merit aid.

In my experience, merit aid notification is usually sent with the acceptance letter.

Do you guys think I would have a shot at Loyola?

I’m a junior and set on medicine! My extracurriculars do outshine my grades and I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing lol
