Acceptance letter?

Anyone else heard either way from Clemson yet? Thanks

Come on you all!! I am dying here. Has ANYONE heard anything? Everyone else is talking about all these "Big Name" schools and nothing about Clemson. I thought it was one of the top public schools? Thanks

It is one of the top publics. When my son applied two years ago, he heard back fairly quickly. When a friend applied last year, with much lower stats, she didn't hear until the published February date. My take is top studens hear fairly quickly while others must wait until the published dates.

Thanks BG12345, I'm just hoping to hear from anyone who has received anything or knows anything!

Child accepted last week. Also received invite to the honors college.

can you provide his stats? like SAT, rank, GPA, etc?

and location, pls

1520, #2, 4.0 unweighted, in-state

My D applied Oct 1 and received an acceptence letter within 4 weeks.
We live in Minnesota and she got OOS tuition waived and some extra money.

ACT 31
GPA 3.95 unweighted

Dad Graduated from Clemson in 1985

Thanks all, I applies on Sept. 29th and have still not heard? I was hoping to get OOS waved, but I guess not? :( If I dont I will not be able to afford. Good luck to all!

don't worry just yet tikitom, I applied in August and haven't heard back yet. I'm wondering if the people who have heard back have a common major or something. What are you stats and intended major, tiki?

Any chance of me receiving an OOS FEE waiver to Clemson with a 26 ACT x 2 times, 3.3 GPA unweighted (10 honors classes), 3 years, 3 sports Varisity letters, worked for 3 summers, lots of EC, Great letter of rec from one of my coaches. Been accepted to PU, IU, BSU, MSU, and SLU ($6,000 schol). Any info, thanks.
Accouting - Business. Thanks

What are your stats Yarrforteh_ Pirates?

ACT:32
SAT: 750 M, 640 CR, 660 W (took 3 times, each time got the same CR score....didn't change no matter how much I studied...)

GPA: 96 & change (3.8 UW, 4.2+W)
Rank: top 20%

4 years of band
competitive HS
some other activities
applying for Engineering school as 1st choice, put business as second.

Clemson= #1 school, especially if I get OOS waiver.

I'm nervous my rank will keep my from getting an OOS waiver. Clemson is the perfect school, and it would be soo awesome if I could go there for cheap, too.

What State are you from?

I applied mid October and was accepted mid November. About a week later I was invited to Honors college and got a preliminary scholarship.

My credentials are pretty good and I go to a high school that sent probably a quarter of its class to Clemson last year... plus I think national merit semifinalist pretty much qualified me without further consideration (though not sure why...)

Are you in state or out? Stats? Any others applied and heard either way?

Should it be safe to assume that people who are hearing this early are all accepted to the honors college? That seems to be a trend...

My daughter got OOS tuition waived and a little extra money but got no information about the honors college. Not sure what that means?...

I called admissions today about DS who applied 10/15, top 15%, 32 ACT. Admissions said that those getting academic scholarships typically hear within 4-5 weeks of admission and the rest hear by 2/15. Hard to imagine that with those stats he won't get any money, we were hoping for OOS waiver.
