<p>Depends on the school. Some scholarships come with the acceptance and some come later. That's particularly true of EA schools.</p>

<p>Early Action - apply in November usually; if you're admitted you hear by December, but it's not binding. Many schools don't give out the scholarship awards until the Regular Decision period.</p>
<p>A friend of mine got a Big scholarship from an EA school he applied to. He learned about it at the same time he got his admissions letter.</p>
