Congrats you guys I hope you choose to come here this place ROCKS!

hahaha, why are you guys still worrying over stats, if your in then congrats, all those stats are now worthless. If i could quote my psych 10 book.

"When students' admissions test scores and college GPA are correlated, researchers generally find moderate positive correlations in the .40s and .50s (Gregory, 1996). Because of this relationship, college admissions committees can predict with modest accuracy how well prospective students will do in college. Admittedly, the predictive power of these admissions tests is far from perfect. Bus its's substantial enough to justify the use of the tests as one factor in making admissions decisions. However, if this correlation were much higher, say .90, admissions tests could predict with superb accuracy how students would perform. In contrast, if this correlation were much lower, say .20, the tests' prediction of college performance would be so poor that considering the test scores in admissions decisions would be unreasonable" (Weiten 38) of Psychology Themes & Variations.

you'll understand in a year when your eating in lenior and wondering why you spent all those nights worrying about those little stats.

because RD results haven't came out yet?

I got in with:
1270 SAT.....28 ACT
3.4 uw gpa
4.11 weighted gpa
I played no sports and the only extra curricular activites I had were beta club and national honor society.
I honestly dont know how in the world I got in???!!!?!?!?!?!?><><>!><

mdakota18,

well lots of things can play a role in thier decision, ie. race, family income, something else different about your family, high school, essay, letters of recommendation. UNC likes a diverse student body.

also i hope ya'll don't mind me posting in this thread, i've just had a lot of caffene tonight and i'm procrastinating.
