<p>Ctinct - You should be thrilled with a 10k scholarship, my d was rejected and 5 of her friends were deferred. Many were very good students and were all accepted into some great schools. I sit here and scratch my head how even my D was rejected and others were deferred or accepted. Guess it all depends on who reads their apps and there must have been some great candidates in the running.</p>
