Large envelope finally made it to Hawaii! D was accepted with $8,000 scholarship!

hey everyone!!! i got accepted to marist and i didnt get any scholarship or merritt baseed money in my envelope…i was just wondering if you had to fill out a seperate form for that or you did something extra to recieve that money?

Crzycute115 ~ My Daughter didn’t have to fill out any other forms for scholarships. It was included in her acceptance letter. If you filled out FAFSA hopefully you will get a nice financial aid package to help you out:) Best of Luck

D wasn’t expecting any merit money and was surprised by it. She didn’t do anything extra to get it.

They consider everyone for merit scholarships - no FAFSA or other application needed. Other schools do the same thing - Fairfield and Providence come to mind.

Keep the faith sportsman! With those great stats, your son is bound to get in. Just painful waiting…

I live about 1.5 hours away from Marist (also in NY) and still haven’t gotten my letter. I checked my online profile and they said all of my test scores, recommendations and transcript were in by November, so I’m not too sure why I haven’t heard yet.

@kate299 - If you applied for EA then you would have heard. I would contact the admission office tomorrow. It has been 17 days since they sent out letters. Yours is either lost or something happened with your application. If you applied RD then you would not have heard in this go around. Are you sure you checked off EA when applying?

Has anyone received an invitation to join their Honors Program?

I got the honors invitation about two days ago. I’m applying I guess.
Has anyone applied for the FFE?

Maddy143, My daughter did. Do you know what the honors program would entail?

My daughter received a letter two days ago telling her se was IN ther honors program. Yesterday she got a phone call saying that was an error; what they really meant is to tell her she may APPLY for honors. Ooopppsss.
