Acceptance Letters

<p>nitnat, my d will not be applying to the honor’s program as she has chosen to attend another school. Really, though, I can’t see any downside in a student applying to any honors program. Good luck to your student!</p>

<p>We had the same experience with the letter followed by the phone call; just an error. I think Honors programs are good things if they expect more from the student and have substance to them. In the letter announcing the program it seems as if they want a well-rounded curriculum from Arts, Sciences, Math with a Senior project due at the end. In my mind this is what college should be all about anyway so I am encouraging my son to apply.</p>

GPA: 3.57 UW
SAT: 1760 (hoping to improve to at LEAST 1800 next time I take it, hoping for 1880 final)
ACT: 24 (won’t be submitting unless I get around 27+)</p>

<p>I’ve taken honors english freshman,sophomore and again senior year, honors biology sophomore year and honors chemistry junior year. I took AP english junior year. I’m taking AP Psychology, AP Human Geography, Honors French and Honors Physics senior year.
I’m so excited to apply and I really appreciate any feedback/replies!! :)</p>
