Don't be so sure-- two of my cousins got in- one with 1120 and the other 1140. The one with 1140 was ranked in the top 10%, however, the one with 1120 was top 30%.

Hm. Well, that's good! But the SAT scores aren't what makes me doubt. It's the fact he/she presented it as recieving the acceptance information in letter form. Letters aren't sent out yet. (In theory.)

It didn't really matter if it was the truth or not. It did provide a distraction from waiting. Nine more days. And what the heck am I messing around on here for I have to study for a physics test............

i just checked out the applicant webpage (anticipation, ya know), and just for sh-ts and giggles, i clicked on the test scores button. It listed all of the tests I took, but had none of the scores. Has this happened to anyone else, and do you think it's a bad sign? The scores used to be there, btw.

That is odd. I checked last nigh and my scores were on there as well. Once you said something i went and checked and now they no longer have any of my scores listed...... I have no idea what it means.

when did it say it was last updated? and is there a box that says "OFFICIAL" above where the scores should be?

I hope this doesn't mean rejection :(

Oh no! Same with mine! =O

What can it possibly mean? =(

I just talked to my uncle-- he said that they have made decisions for the "super stars" but that is pretty much it-- guess they are running behind.

So would that mean that they had come to a decision on the people that had their test scores removed?? So rj1988 and joshb110 would you describe yourselves as "super stars"? Because I think of myself as being just a little below average for Rice so I doubt that I fit into the super star category.

yeah... sooo... I applied to rice last year RD...rejected. (reapplying b/c of knee surgery and tulane problems) My application was definitely better this year, but i doubt that I qualify as a 'superstar.' (keeping fingers crossed)

eeek. my sat scores were taken off too. theres just an empty column that says "offical." maybe they just did that to everyone's? I don't think I'm superstar-ish at all.

no, i dont consider myself a "super star"... my scores are above the average and my grades are good and i have decent ec's but nothing amazing... my ecs are mainly athletics

Well, I have Legacy at Rice, am a minority, top 5% of class, good recs, and did bunches of ECs. My SAT scores, however, were a bit dull: 1250 combined for the SAT and 700 on US History and 730 in Lit.

Joshb- you already know your status, right? Are your scores missing too?

........mine was too......ohhh the suspense is killing me
looks like the end (of the wait) is near...

yes, they are... im assuming everyones scores are?

My scores are also missing... ?

yeah... Rice just likes to mess with our heads

Good. So long as /everyone's/ scores are missing. xP
