....do we get em in paper?

Yep! haha, DUH… I received mine today… they are niiice =)

What came with the letter? Anything? (And qwt2, where do you live?)
I’m really excited about this haha. :)

So cool!!!
It was pretty too. But, you should probably just wait for the surprise. Life’s more fun that way. =D

Ffffffine, okay. xD
I’ll just attack the mailperson tomorrow

haha seriously!
i live in OH =)

If I don’t get a cookie with my letter, I’m going to be sad.

They promised cookies. Maybe they’ll be there when I visit.

im really hoping for a shirt or something!

hahahaha you guys are hilarious

I’m really excited now.

Got mine today - it’s pretty.

It included a certificate (in addition to the letter) that says “book_worm has been admitted to UChicago.” It’s quite pretentious :

I loved it. it was very cool. came together with notre dame acceptance. two big envelopes at the same time… was cool

I don’t remember my kids getting certificates! Harvard has done that forever, and I always thought it was the most pretentious thing imaginable. Giving out “certificates of admission” seems oh so cheesy to me.

I got my letter yesterday! I had no idea it was coming, so I did not stalk the mailman, and my certificate of admission got a slight crumple from being folded up in my mailbox :(.

Do financial aid estimates accompany these fancy pants certificates, perchance?

@Embeezy- since our office is separate from the office of financial aid, you’ll be receiving an estimate separately sometime in the coming weeks.

Can someone post a picture? I want to know if they’re different from last years

You all are referring to letters in addition to the one online, right?

Soooo cool! It was a brilliant surprise. And my parents loved the certificate :)

Yes, there are items in addition to the acceptance letter. Besides the certificate, there is basic information about financial aid, housing, visiting, etc.; along with the reply form.

There was no t-shirt, but our D was given one when she visited earlier this year.
