Acceptance Letters

I know that the letters went out yesterday. Please let me know when you start receiving letters. We live on the east coast and it is going to take a few days to get out to us :( Good luck everyone! Hope to see you at Pioneer Day!!!!!!

D received acceptance package today. We live 50 miles from Denver.

Good Luck to all!

Congratulations! Are you planning on going to the Pioneer Day for accepted students?

Did the financial aid award come in with the acceptance, or simply the acceptance? We won’t see the letter for a few days either!

ariamom,

Daughter’s acceptance also included a merit scholarship. Letter said need-based aid will be coming out later.

Good Luck!

From Los Angeles still waiting!!! We did reserve for Pioneer day. Office gave me code which they said wouldn’t work online unless accepted and worked. So hopefully good sign. Hopefully on Mon!

Accepted today from San Francisco Bay Area!! Dean’s Scholarship too!

My daughter right now is picking San Diego State v DU - However, I really want her to attend DU - smaller classes, emphasis on writing! She visited and loved DU but just loves SD - Guess have to let her choose. Going to Pioneer Day for last visit which I hope makes a difference

Mayanoa, did I understand you correctly that they let you reserve a spot at Pioneer day without receiving your acceptance? When I called, I was told it was for accepted students and I should call as soon as my D received hers in the mail. We are still waiting for letter as well. Hopefully Mon.

My d got in with 12K scholarship but she does not want to attend :frowning: I am really unhappy about her decision. We visited and she liked Denver but I guess not as much as some other places! - How do I check messages as I think someone messaged me - thanks you all for comments and good luck!

I live in Western Colorado and received my acceptance letter around 3-13-10. I was accepted with a Chancellor scholarship (18k per year), and DU is a serious consideration at the moment. It is great for my major (political science) and Denver is a great city! I submitted my fin aid info a couple days ago so I am waiting to hear back on that and also waiting to hear back from a few more schools.
