Today, I got a thick envelope from Boston College. Inside was the same “Welcome to the Honors Program” brochure I got 3 months ago. The letter inside says they know I already got my formal acceptance, but would now “like to direct [my] attention to the enclosed materials related to [my] matriculation.”

Did anyone else get this? Seems kinda strange.

What's funny is the letter is dated March 15th, 2006. They got both the date AND the year wrong (today's the 15th, and it couldn't get from Boston to Philly in less than a day).

hmm that's odd...BC seems to be doing some strange things...whats in the package? I'm in California I'll let you guys know if I get one in the next few days...

BC has this unusual tendency to send the same mail two, sometime three, times within the semester. Last month, I got (not one) two letters of financial aid that I already got before the summer.

ive yet to be accepted from bc, im still waiting on RD.. so is getting 5 of one thing everytime something is sent a good sign? lol... im superstitious so i havent thrown one of them out

i got the packet except when i opened it, the first page said "welcome to the honors program" for the carroll school of management. except i just got into the honors program yesterday...i didn't find out when i got my initial acceptance in december for early action.

needsinfo, due to a conversation with the admissions office, that "welcome to the honors program" may be a printing problem (Sending out the wrong brochure). That is what happened with me.

oh man tim555, did they say how many misprints there were? i was actually quite surprised i got into the honors program...but i haven't received notification of mine being a mistake. did you receive notification? i got this letter last friday.
