ahhh that means i could get one today!!! i know it took two days for them to mail my likely letter to CT. I can't wait for the mail to come today. It better come early !!!

Good luck everyone!! I'm in need of a big envelope to cheer me up this week, so lets cross our fingers that that likely letter wasn't just a cruel joke...

International packets were sent FedEx International Priority, on Wednesday.

yeah guys good luck to all those who still havent recieved likely letters yet

bman, since it seems you know what you're talking about (I don't know if you're a current student or just called the admissions office or what), do you know when the accepted student overnight(s)/reception(s) are scheduled for? I know there is one April 1st because it was in our likely letters, but I can't make it to that one. I e-mailed the admissions office and Joe Pelliccia (who sent out the likely letters), but neither has responded. Thanks!!

Waitlisted...got my mail today...argh
good luck to everyone else!

Waitlisted as well today... ahhh well... it's not my first and it won't be my last. Good luck to everyone else!

The April 1 event is scheduled so that admitted students can attend this:

This is an annual event where the undergrads present the research they've been doing.

Yay! i got my accpetance today!!!!
sorry to the guys who got waitlisted - remember there are still plenty of great colleges out ther for you!!!

Oh and if anyone was wondering it came in a big white envelope shipped priority mail postmarked march 23rd. Inside there is a folder that is the same as their viewbook with papers inside. The two accepted student receptions are on April 1st as noted before and on April 28 and there are many local receptions as well.

I just got all excited cause I thought I heard the mailman, but it turns out it was a UPS guy delivering something for my mom :( I hate that our mailman doesn't come till at least 3:30...

This time I did hear the mailman and met him at the street...and he handed me a big white envelope from Bates :D Yay!

Ugh, you northerners are so lucky. I'm from Florida, and mail from way up there seems to take an eternity to arrive.

Did they mail out transfer decisions as well?

stars, I got mine today and I live in FL, so you should get yours tomorrow. Good luck!

Haha, what do you know. 70reve4rotag, you were right. Wait-list. Blah. It could be worse. But do wait-list people who are later accepted really get no financial aid at all?

you get your mail this early in the day, stars?? i'm jealous - i have to wait till 4pm :( ...i'm waiting on georgetown today (and a few others sometime soon)

AAAAH I'm on Easter Break, so my letter sits in my campus mailbox until Tuesday. This is starting to get stressful.
