Acceptance policy - Rolling Admission schools

<p>My classmate has been accepted at U Mich & Northwestern...Can he wait until May 1 to make his choice or must he do it earlier?</p>

<p>Also:</p>

<p>Another classmate has already been accepted at Cornell...Does that mean that he likely went Early Decision and made his commitment before the early January deadline for EDs?</p>

<p>Not sure if this answers your question, but I was accepted to a couple schools early december and a couple late dec. early january and they all have the may 1st deadline to make the decision</p>
