Does anyone feel as upset as I do about how transfers are getting screwed this year? It seems like every prestigious school is cutting their transfer class by at least 1/2.

Nope. I'm overwhelmed with options right now. Cornell, Wash U, Georgetown.......

I have Cornell and Georgetown and a waitlist at Columbia.
It was pretty tough this year but DEFINITELY no worse than last year.
(except for those shooting for harvard and the super-super elites)

Just from looking at the boards, it looks like...

Harder to Get Into Than Last Year:

Harvard
Columbia College
Yale
Stanford
Dartmouth
Williams
Amherst
Bowdoin
Vassar
MIT
BC
NYU CAS

About the Same:

Middlebury
Georgetown
Chicago
WashU
Rice
Cornell
UPenn
Swat
Princeton :D

Easier:

Wesleyan :)
Brown

How does Williams look harder just judging by these boards? I don't think most people have heard back yet...

It looks like they've gotten more applicants this year while # of spaces available is generally constant.

Princeton doesn't accept transfer students.

i believe thats why princeton is in the "same" list with a smiley next to it.

lol thank you that was the joke.
