Does anyone know the acceptance rate for the Jerome Fisher M&T program at UPenn? Thanks!

wharton is around 10 percent, and m+t will be considerably lower than that, i'd say in the 5-8 percent range

from what i've heard, the acceptance rate really may not be the problem for M+T. the pool is incredibly self-selective and only the best of the best have a chance of being accepted.

I believe it's actually higher than the overall Wharton acceptance rate. The pool is extremely self-selective - only those who are well-qualified and strongly desire to attend even apply. (Yet another reason why acceptance rates are such a poor heuristic for determining your chances of admission). No one really applies on a whim or as a longshot, as people do to Wharton (or Harvard, for example)

true that its very self-selecting ie i self-selected myself out of the program.
you should know that most m+t ers take 6-7 courses a term

more like 5-6 I thought?

It's definitely more like 6 courses than 7, still a lot either way, but 7 is insane (many do do this for like one semester though)

most take 6 most semesters. some stay another year/semester/summer to lighten the load in the other semesters. many take 7 (or 6.5 repeatedly) for one semester, as it all depends on the way your schedule plays out with ap's, major choices, etc.
