Acceptance rate for the Huntsman Program

Hi, does anyone know the acceptance rate for the Huntsman Program? Thanks.

it is not that high, I don’t believe they release the exact percentage, but it is a VERY competitive pool of applicants.

Ah i see, would you say its more competitive than the wharton program? or the regular college of arts and sciences? Thank you.

^ MUCH more competitive than either of those separately. But on the application, you can indicate which of those two schools you’d like to be considered for if you are not admitted to the Huntsman Program, so there is no competitive disadvantage to applying to Huntsman instead of applying to one of the 2 component schools.

you have to get accepted to wharton and CAS and then get admitted into the program… very difficult, but as @45percenter stated you can choose CAS or Wharton that will receive your application if you are rejected from Huntsman

^ Actually, all admissions decisions are made by and in the Admissions Office, not by the schools themselves, although as I understand it, the special programs (like Huntsman) have representatives involved in the admissions decisions for their programs.

Thank you, you’ve all been very helpful!

It was about 2.5% for the class of 2015
