true that. one does wonder where they come up with those numbers, though

It’s pretty egregious to make something like that up. I think they’re true. Maybe I’m just gullible. Or naive.

i agree with xsteven…why would anyone just make that up? plus its weird they changed the article the next day. I’m thinking they accidently released numbers.

I’m sure Penn views CC regularly to fix their mistakes. This, the prereleased ED decisions…

Maybe next, some promotion and marketing advice.

ROFL

after muerteapablo and nobromo spent all that time attacking cornell!

^Dammit who forgot to take out the garbage??!!!

This is odd, but why would Penn have access to Princeton’s admission data…

^
the ivy’s are in contact with each other i believe, hence how they catch people who apply ED to two schools.

However, Penn printing their data obviously is a breach of contract or w/e they practice…

wait… princeton? 11%??

that doesn’t sound right

Penn accepted 21% this year ? I’m confused, did it got up or was it a mistake ?

we’re not sure, but it’s probably a mistake.

If it’s not a mistake, it makes sense because with the same number of applicants as last year, they have to assume lower yield because of the economy compelling many accepted students to look at cheaper public schools.

*** cant be i refuse to believe this. 21% is too high thats like what it was 4 or 5 years ago

hmm, maybe i will get in…

Penn can’t get more competitive if it can’t attract more applicants…

Assuming this is false, based on the number of applicants, the assumption that Princeton will likely grow their class size slightly from last year, and the notion that yield will probably be around 60%, my guess is 9.9%.

is this real or not.

this definitely isn’t right

the numbers will surely be around 16%

and princeton will def not be > 10%

How is it definitely not right? Applications barely went up, and with this economy and yield craziness, I doubt Penn’s admission rate will be less than last year. Ah well, we’ll see in 3 days.

Whatever it is…it offers us a teeny weeny bit of more hope
