Acceptance Rate of Chemical Engineering

<p>Hi all. I used to be a biology major but I decided to switch to chemical engineering. I know chemical engineering is very competitive. But what if I don't make the 3.2 technical GPA guarantee? How often are students accepted with lower than a 3.2 GPA? And is there more preference to students with more credits, because the semester I'm applying for I should have 85 credits? </p>

<p>Ask a CSE advisor about the cut-off GPA from the most recent cycle.</p>

<p>I would think it is probably pretty difficult due to the fact that ChemE is the best known major at the U. I would ask a CSE advisor though.</p>
