Does USC publish acceptance rates by school, if so what is the acceptance rate for Marshall vs. Viterbi…
How hard is to transfer as a Marshall admit to Viterbi, during orientation? Thanks!
They do not publish acceptance rates by college. Both colleges are difficult to get into. My guess is they are both in the 15% range. If you are admitted to Marshall and want to transfer to Viterbi you can sign up for Viterbi classes at orientation but you still need to take CS 103, CS 109 and one math (125/126/225) and get at least a B in all three courses, then they will let you officially transfer in.
@GamerGal27 after I take those courses, will I automatically be admitted? Or is there no guarantee?
There use to be a statement on the Viterbi website that said you were an auto admit with a B or higher in those three courses but they removed it. Now they say something nebulous like its very competitive so do your best blah, blah, blah. Still based on my sons admittance and one of his good friends the B or higher rule does seem true.
