<p>Decision: Accepted</p>

<p>Stats:
i am currently attending the flagship university for the state i am in.
major: political science, philosophy and economics (at the school i am at, at GWU its going to be political science and philosophy OR economics, just a double major)
ACT: 29 (i got 33+ in everything except maths, really low score, which brought my composite down)
GPA: 3.8
can speak fluent gujarati, extremely fluent English (i was raised in England, i have a British accent), conversational Hindi and elementary swahili (lol my dad was raised in uganda)
ALso i had taken all hard classes. My latest classes are all pretty much upper level classes, many of them can count for graduate credit if you do an extra 2,000 word essay or something. also i worked through the summer in my first year at college and stacked up enough credits if they accept all of them i will accepted as a junior, when in fact i am in the middle of my sophomore year but have a lot of credits to my name.
my essay for gwu was excellent i think.</p>

<p>ECs:
i had lots of them. i volunteerd with help the aged in London, England
did an internship at Time Out Magazine in London, England
worked for a campus magazine in Gallup, New Mexico (was begged to be editor but i transferred to a bigger campus)
I frequently get published in the daily newspaper in my current campus in ALbuquerque, New Mexico
I started the first community recycling project in my high school in LOndon, England
I have lived in London, England for 19 years of my life (i am 20 years old), i have a dual British-American citizenship, and did many more community projects in London.</p>

<p>Refs:
I think the teacher who i got to write my reference taught at GWU at some point, (i THINK) but i am not sure. I know she wrote an EXCELLENT reference. She is also the first Jewish woman to be published by the University of Palestine or something. She is a Biblical archaeologist and my history teacher.</p>

<p>Decision: I'm going to go, I am primarily a political science major and this will look good on my CV</p>

<p>Here are my stats;
Female from FL, minority
GPA 3.8 from the local community college- will transfer with an AA in accounting
4.0 in accounting related courses
A few extracurricular activities, nothing amazing
Work part time at a bank</p>

<p>I didn't send any of my test scores
I had 3 letters of recommendation, one was a really good one from my government teacher
My essay was decent (I am very bad at essays). I wrote about how much I really want to go to GW and live in DC. </p>

<p>I can not believe I got in. I applied because I did not want to regret not applying. But seeing how expensive it is I can not attend unless when I get the info packet in the mail it comes with an amazing academic scholarship (doubt it).</p>
