how bad do your grades have to drop to get your admission taken away from the UW?

if i have like a 3.87 gpa, already been accepted, but get a D and a C (both in Ap/honor classes, rest are A's) and end with a semester gpa of like 3.28, can i get my admission taken away?

Be prepared to explain your D.

well I was curious myself... so I wrote to this jovan guy... I said

Mr. Mccoy,

I recently received my admissions letter and I am very happy that I didnt have to wait very long for it. Im sorry to bother you but I have a question regarding the submission of my transcript. I am told to submit my final transcript once my senior year is over. I want to know whether or not I am bound by my 2nd semester schedule I indicated on my application and whether or not there is a situation where my acceptance would be rescinded. I believe I have already met all the core requirements for admission and I dont think I will be in a position to fail any of my classes between now and graduation however I would like to know if there is a grade or G.P.A. standard I must keep. Again I dont intend on doing poorly in my studies, but I would like to know if there are any thresholds that I just cannot cross. Thank you very much for your time and I am looking forward to your response.

and then he responed

Hello Austin,

First let me say congratulations on your acceptance and your hard work. In regards to your final transcript, the UW wants to make sure that the classes that you've advised us you will be taking, which were considered in your overall strength of curriculum are completed. Do the best you can in each class but don't drop or fail any of them. Other that than, it serves as a final confirmation of your completed high school work.

soo just don't fail a class. One D isn't going to hurt you... if it does.. I'm in the same boat... I think... we'll have to see when grades come out :)

sweeet!!!! thanks alot!

and i actually think my grades went up...i might end up with a c and a b-
