<p>Received my acceptance by mail today in upstate NY! Says scholarship information will be mailed on the 17th (which is a Sunday, so won't actually go out til the next day I presume)</p>

<p>About how much scholarship do they normally give? I’m looking at like a $47,000 tuition to go there and it’s the third most expensive I’ve gotten into and it’s not the third most one I want to go to.</p>

<p>LukieLauXD…tuition at TU is $34,000 next year. Maybe you’re looking at Tuition and Room & Board? That total is closer to $45,000. Not sure where the $47,000 number is coming from, unless you’re including books. </p>

<p>I believe the average merit award is something like $14,000 but $18,000+ is not uncommon. If you have other schools that cost less but interest you more, you should definitely strongly consider them over TU.</p>

<p>Got $18,000. Not sure exactly when it arrived; haven’t been home since Tuesday so sometime since then, but it was dated the 15th. TU’s not at the top of my list but I’m definitely considering it. Did get more at some schools higher on my list but I’m expecting a decent financial aid package, so will wait to see that before making any decisions.</p>

<p>Yea, I just got $18,000 too. They estimate a $45,000 cost for everything room and board, but at $27,000 it’s still pretty expensive for me. I’m hoping to get the Presidential Scholarship.</p>

<p>Today I received a big envelope with a letter as well as certificate from college President about my selection to Presidential Scholarship. Good news.</p>
