My D has been offered almost $22K in scholarships, but Fordham is so expensive that it will be difficult for that to make a difference. It is a great school, certainly.

@agreatperhaps13 & @ amackie31 Where did you look to find your amount? I went to the admitted students tab on my.fordham.edu and clicked on the highlighted ‘Financial Aid’ at the top of the Financial Aid box. It took me to a page that said Home, Documents, and Messages. Home was just the overview of the site, Documents just told me Fordham received my Fafsa, and I didn’t have anything under Messages.

@screed2014 Login in to your official decision letter. Scroll down to the bottom of the letter, and click the “Financial Aid Award Letter” link.

I don’t have one of those links. Just the link to fordham.edu/admitted page…Does that mean I didn’t get merit aid or need-based/ any type of aid all together?

@screed2014 fordham.edu/admitted is a totally different page.
- https://admission.fordham.edu/apply/status Click here and login to the portal
- Under status update, click the link “view update.” That’s where you’ll find your acceptance letter.
- Scroll to the bottom of your letter and click “Financial Aid Award Letter”

If you don’t have any of these links, I don’t know what happened. It should be there, though. Hope this helps!

I see my acceptance letter and the bottom of the page says this:

I recommend calling the admissions or financial aid office to find out what’s wrong. Sorry it didn’t work out. Good luck. :)

=/ Alright I’ll give it a try. Thank you!

@sreed2014 it’s the same for me, I called FA earlier today and they said that my FA award should be up by the end of the week so I’m assuming it’s the same with you

@NigerianPrince the link will be on the the online acceptance letter like everyone else’s? Or somewhere else?

@sreed2014 I think so. I don’t see why not

Accepted! Foudn out outline a couple days ago and got the letter in the mail today.
28 ACT, 91 GPA unweighted, coming from a small, private Catholic school (which I heard is always an advantage for Fordham)
I’m very excited, although I’m not sure I’ll be able to afford it.
I got the Fordham Jogues Scholarship which seems to be based on merit and the Fordham Tuition Scholarship which I’m assuming is a form of financial aid? Not entirely sure.
Anyway, I’m very excited!
Congrats to all who were accepted!

Congratulations!!! My daughter is a current freshman and she received the Jogues also. Hope you can make it to the accepted students day on 4/13.

My son got accepted. They are giving him a good financial aid package too about $27K per year. Interested in biological sciences program. He has other offers so difficult decisions ahead.

My son was accepted with 33,000 in grants and scholarships, so we may be able to afford it. Pleasantly surprised with the financial aid package from Fordham.
