<p>hmmm my grades are exactly like yours yet minerva registered my mid-year grades on monday and im still at further review required. blahhhh</p>
<p>salpert, i didnt apply for the 3K-10K renewable but i got an offer for the basic merit scholarship of $3000 a couple of days ago, so im assuming they're busy doing that right now</p>
<p>yeah im freaking out, two people in my school have been accepted so far so im gettin really nervous.
they received my mid-year grades last week, but i signed on today and they had added that they received or were reviewing my recommendation letters which is odd because those should have reached them quite awhile ago.
im thinking maybe because theyre kind of on the fence out be because of my gpa and so theyre going to look and the not required recs to get a better idea--i hope.</p>

<p>What GPA/SAT do you usually need for scholarship? And curious, what is the cutoff typically for GPA/SAT for acceptance?</p>
<p>supposedly, 700+ on each section of the SAT, and top 1-2% of your class
since they introduced more scholarships this year the cut-off may be lower (just a guess)</p>

still nothing for me today, although they did update saying they received more grades or something. im really hoping i get in, i want to go so badly but im really doubting ill be accepted</p>
<p>i have a 3.3 and a 30 act...so you amke me a feel a little more hopeful. but two things: are you american? im assuming not because you have an IP thing, but i am so maybe that makes it harder for me? oh and which faculty were you accepted into?</p>

WAY below cutoff, which is listed on the site. but then some type of miracle may have happened? maybe it's the IB score (which i dont know the particulars of), or the GPA... seriously though, bigtwix hasn't even been accepted for 3 weeks yet so what was the kid ****ting his pants for?</p>

<p>ehhh, i hear generally if you have like a 3.5uw and like a 2000+sat u should usually get in.</p>
<p>But idk, cause usually i think people with that stats like above are usually people who only have a 3.5uw cause they sucked at first and then started killing school 11-12th grade year like me.</p>
<p>9-10 i got like a 3.15uw/w
11th i got about a 3.75uw/4.15w
this year i have a 3.75uw/4.5w</p>
<p>so the upward trend is huge which is probably how i got in.</p>
<p>mcgill's the most selective school in canada, since their entering class average for canadians is 90% ish. they probably cut a bit of slack for american applicants, since we are the first ones to apply and hear back. but an acceptance rate of 47% is nothing compared to competitive US colleges. still, those scores were scary looking lol (congrats if they are indeed real though).
damn i should be reading pride and prejudice right now. i wonder why people like the book -.-".</p>
