are you going to go?

BIGTWIX: I'm not sure, to be honest. McGill isn't my first choice, but even if I were to get into my first choice, there are financial aspects that I have to consider (i.e. there is probably no school, bar state colleges, that's cheaper than McGill while still having an Ivy-level education)

Times like these that I wish I could be in three places at once :(

I Got Into Arts&science!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! To answer your question, I'm not really sure...I'm waiting on a few more schools, but there's a good shot that I will be at McGill.

I hope you don't have to associate ahhhhhhhhhhhh with college anymore.

Hahah, I'm so relieved, McGill was my 1st choice!

I have to wait for one more but I'm pretty sure I'll be at McGill.. I'm so happy, I've spent far too much time on this board!

So yea, I got in, but didn't do much research, which programs are actually good?
i heard that managment was a joke, which was what I was going to study. And I have no idea why I chose Chem Engineering. Is it possible to change faculties once you get in (like arts and science)? I'm from the US and have no idea how these things work in Canada. And what is the honors econ program?

Stats:

Extra curics, dont wanna list them all

So can someone enlighten me on my questions?
I will most likely not attend, but its still nice knowing that you are in somewhere

I got accepted into the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Science like 2 weeks ago, but my 1st choice Faculty of Arts is still pending. What's the deal?

SAT 2060
2.98 GPA

^^ a 2.98 GPA (unless your in some killer high school) is VERY low for mcgill. You probably got admitted into the Faculty of A&ES due to the need to fill, and not due to qualifications (sorry).

If you eventually get into Arts, congratulations. If not...don't be surprised.

I'll bet that's a typo and her GPA is 3.98

not to by all pessimistic about the person's stats, but think about it.

With a 3.98 and 2060, one would likely be in arts no problem.

McGill Ag and enviro faculty, at least ive heard, is by far the least competitive. It would seem to make sense, considering it isnt located at the awesome downtown campus.

Sorry, was a typo...3.98. Any thoughts based on that? Thanks.

in that case, you should be in

Does anyone know what this means?
Admitted Pending Final Results
I've asked a few people and looked it up but I'm still feeling uneasy...

You're in...pending your final grades (I remember reading it somewhere on the forum)

Congrats

It just means you are in and that you shouldnt fail a class.

Idk what kind of leeway they give you with grades, but ide assume that as long as you arent getting a C average, you should be fine.

I'm an Ontario student with a 3.1 GPA and I'm applying to Arts. Any thoughts?

^I heard it averages out to be 91% for admitted Ontario students.

ACCEPTED!!! (finally)
