Nice job. I Dual Enroll at OU, MTH155 w/ Wright.

My teacher rec was not in, so I had my GC fax it over there, and I'm waiting a few days for them to process it or whatever. But they do have the checklist part, so its still complete.

let's say your in the first batch...will they defer you right away or wait a little before they let you know

I think they let you know right away, but sometimes it takes forever for them to make an explicit deferral decision. From what I have gathered, they like to wait awhile until they send you a decision, and this year might exaggerate all the previous experiences people have had.

i called today they said they just started reviewing freshman apps this week i wonder when that means the first batch will be sent out

Good news to hear :)

I AM GETTING SO IMPATIENT.
I know it's ridiculous of me since it's not like they PROMISE October decisions, but having stressed myself the **** out to get it in right after being abroad in early september as they recommended, I was expecting an admissions decision by now. (Especially since I'm waaayyy out of state and want to go visit if I'm accepted...)

if my app is complete like november 3 will i know by christmas do you think?

i don't know why everybody is getting so impatient .....they're obviously having problems and even the first batch may not be receiving decisions for a while. i think the best thing to do is wait it out.....and not stress ?!

dc4lins, i'm in the same situation. i want to visit if i am accepted before i make a decision. since i got my app in a couple of weeks ago and my final recommendation in a couple of days ago im hoping ill know by thanksgiving if im in.

I think everyone should stop worrying. There's no use in that. If Michigan wasn't a rolling admissions school, no one would have a decision yet anyway. They're having problems. Give the admissions committee time to fix them.

But reeses, if Michigan wasn't a rolling admissions school I wouldn't have had to stress about getting my app in freakishly early.

If they would ADMIT the computer problem, this would be more understandable.

"But reeses, if Michigan wasn't a rolling admissions school I wouldn't have had to stress about getting my app in freakishly early."

lol. That's true. However, if you finish your application early, you'll have less to do later. :)

"If they would ADMIT the computer problem, this would be more understandable."

No one (as far as I know) said it is a computer problem. It may have nothing to do with computers. Maybe it is connected with MCRI or another problem that the Admissions Office is having. I honestly don't know. (I'm just trying to be optimistic. I'm a little defensive of my school. ;) )

ya im kinda angry because i wanted to know if i got in or not BEFORE early descision was due (nov 1). and now i have to take the early descion risk.
buhhhh

I just want to know Michican before December 15 so I will know I am in at some college before the big ones come back. Also, if I get shut out at my reach schools for the early round, I would like to know I got into Michigan so I dont have as much stress, or that I was not accepted so I can lower my expectations by a lot.

Yay for the start of reviewing freshman apps! :)

SO nervous...t_t

Me too. They said sometime in November the first decisions should be out... so first batch out by at least the end of November, I suppose. It's a shame I'll start going insane November 1st about all of this.

To correct you, you should go insane on November 3rd. They release decisions on Fridays.

Do instate kids hear before OOS kids? That's a rumor that's circulating my HS. Hope so...:)

If they mail decisions, then yes instate would get a reply much faster then OOS because of snail mail. But I think Michigan gives decisions out online.

lol, you guys are whining about waiting for 2 months... you're in for a rude awakening
