<p>Berkeley's acceptance rate was 24%. So let's say it's going to be similar or maybe even lower. So if the top 1.5% were qualified for regents scholarship, then the 22.5% of the applicants will still get acceptedto the college? Or something like that, right?</p>

<p>they accepted 500 more students last year from the usual class size of around 3900 students.......</p>
<p>As far as I know, the class size as been steadily increasing for a decade; it just happened to decrease/stop due to recent budget cuts. But last year some funds were restored.</p>
