My D was a 1230 SAT, her school has a weird GPA but like a B plus and I’m not sure what her major was

1130/1790 SAT
about an 85 average
5 AP’s, 3 college classes

Political Science :)

my d had a 1340/1600, 1990/2400, mid 90’s gpa. 5 ap’s , psychology

Female, 27 ACT, another strange GPA, since it is a dual curriculum school but taken alone it was a 3.4 GPA in regular courses. Undeclared major.

Accepted, male, 1190/ 1600, 1820/2400 SAT, 3.4 GPA, 5 AP’s and 11 honors classes throughout high school, undeclared major.

Thanks for the stats , keep them coming. You have all inspired me to hit the SAT books asap!

Accepted
990 on two parts of SAT
23 on ACT
95 High School GPA
6 APs 1 College Course
Im really bad at standardized testing for some reason but New Paltz took everything else into account so I was lucky enough to get accepted
Accounting Major

D accepted- didn’t declare a major but listed history, physical sciences and Renaissance studies as academic interests

Stats (from an odd NY public school program which lists all classes as honors)
ACT- 28 composite (uneven scores though- perfect on CR for both sections but a 23 on the English section, 8 on the optional writing)
GPA uw 3.1-3.3-not sure how to convert from a 100 point scale (But great grades on 2 college courses and an online h.s. science course)
EC- a stellar EC with wonderful leadership, long time commitment and significant hours for a few other ECs, some interesting choices (fall sr year did an international internship in her chosen field)

Accepted a week or two ago, 2070/2400 1400/1600 3.6ish GPA, bunch of ECs/volunteering. Sent in a rec from my USH teacher. Psych or anthro major probably w/ pre-med track. Anyone going to the open house for accepted kids? I’m still waiting on 6 other decisions and then I’ll decide.

congratssss

has anyone gotten their award letter yet? we just got one today though it says estimate on it and that an official letter only goes to confirmed students. How can they estimate when we need to know for sure in order to know whether we can afford it or not?

The estimation does not include $3500 for books, supplies, transportation and personal expenses and includes $5500 per year in loans (partially sub.) for the student and $3385 for the parents!

Congrats! I got accepted too this past weekend. Hopefully we’ll see each other orientation week!

More stats guys I need some inspiration to hit the SAT books lol :D
