<p>When do they mail out the letters after being accepted? 
I was admitted about a month ago, but I still haven’t received any mail… btw, I’m an international student… :(</p>
<p>My son applied in early December, not early action. He did receive notice his app was received, but I don’t think he received any access to a website to check status. Can anyone tell me the process for that? Since it is rolling admissions, I hope the wait is not too long to find out.</p>
<p>@OhioMom- After that email, it takes around 5-7 days until you will receive another email about MyLMU and from there, you get your username and password :D</p>

<p>My son got accepted early action to film production, and despite never getting any emails and requesting a log in twice has never received one- and has not heard anything by email. So don’t worry about having no log in or email. You may still get that nice acceptance envelope!</p>

<p>@DancinggBear did you get honors at entrance? I think they send invites for the Presidential weekend during late January to Feb so you definitely still have a chance…</p>

<p>Hey, does anyone know if you can be accepted by LMU but not by a specific program, e.g., Film, or do you either get accepted into the specific program or rejected all together?</p>
<p>At the admit day last year, we broke off into sections by what the students were admitted into…</p>

<p>It depends on how competitive the major the major is that you want to be in and if it’s at least in the same you college you were accepted into, but it’s not that hard to change majors.</p>
<p>My son was accepted today to the Recording Arts program within the Film school. He actually had an email from the Admissions Director saying the letter went in the mail–I hadn’t heard of an email acceptance before–maybe that’s what they’re doing for RD applicants this year?</p>
<p>If you were given an account, you probably get the e-mail as well as the letter in the mail. Congrats to your son!</p>
