<p>Hi, I have been lurking on this thread for awhile now but since I haven’t received any responses from LMU’s admission office, I’m starting to worry.
I applied on December 26th, 2011, and I got an e-mail from LMU saying they received my application on January 5th. I received my myLMU account information on Jan. 20th, and I haven’t heard from them since.
My friend who sits next to me in Psychology told me about two weeks ago that he got accepted, and he applied the week before LMU’s deadline (so first week of January).
I’m wondering why LMU is taking so long to get back to me…I mean, if they are rolling admissions, don’t they tell people about their acceptance/rejection status in the order people applied?
I am thinking they want to review my mid-year report (which I turned in the Monday after finals week)…but other than that-do you guys know if this is a bad sign they are taking a lot longer to respond?

<p>I’m pretty sure my son didn’t get in until late March or so last year, and there were a lot of folks posting the same thing around then.</p>

<p>^^My S has not heard. But, I just found out the HS did not send mid year reports, even though requested weeks ago. Make sure they have everything.</p>

<p>Thank you for letting me know! I was just worried that something went wrong/it’s a bad sign that LMU hasn’t responded yet when students who applied later than me were already receiving their admission results. Thanks again! & Meanwhile I’ll keep checking on myLMU :)</p>

<p>S got acceptance today (So Cal)! No mention of any award. He was deferred from EA and not a word since.</p>
