Acceptance

<p>So I know a guy who studies at georgetown university currently, he was offered admission even though he had a very low gpa and a low sat score as well. But he was offered admission to georgetown college because he belongs to a very prominent political family in asia. His essay must've been amazing I guess due to his family background and the fact that he had soo much to offer to the university they accepted him. I was also told that he for sure is going to be a major political figure in asia after he's done with college, and that just convinced georgetown didn't it. I was also told his father has some very good links within the university so that must've also played a huge part. It's sad actually how people with such low gpa and sat scores get accepted and the ones with amazing gpa and sat scores get rejected, but i guess that's how the system is.</p>

<p>There are normally a few spaces set aside for the special situations and this sounds like one of those. The other factor not mentioned is that there may have been a significant financial contribution made to the school and we all know that money talks…</p>
