ps. i got into ucla already for chemical engneering

Those are solid scores and should get you into BioE.

Did you apply to Berkeley? For BioE or Chem?

i applied to every UC with bioengineering...ucsd is my top choice

You should have many fine choices.Best of luck.

thanks
more people respond any replies will help

im just a little curiousand bored
it beats doiing hw

Solid stats but not a complete match for BioE at UCSD.

also i believe a big part in my application is my commitment to math/science
10th grade 2 math(alegbra2/trig, precalc) and 3 science classes(bio, chem, computer pgoramming)
11th grade 2math (calcab, apstats) and 3 science classes(biotech, apbio, physics)

wait a minute
isn't bioE like #2 in the US for UCSD?
am i correct or am i totally wrong?

and if so, shouldn't it be MUCH harder to get in than most other majors in ALL of UC's

I was confident about UCSD before because i alreayd got in UCLA but i just heard this info from a guy who also did bioE, and he was getting really scareed about UCSD because of this/.

thats why im scared

BioE is so impacted that you'll have tons of people waitlisting for many of the first courses. If you walk into a BioE lecture with about 200 seats, you'll most likely see 30 people sitting on the stairs because so many people are trying to get in to the class/major. You have solid stats, but probably only average for BioE.
